About the learning
This learning has been produced for nursing staff in the emergency department. It aims to teach the required knowledge and skills for the airway assistant during a rapid sequence induction of anaesthesia (RSI).
The content of this course was defined using a Delphi technique, and the pilot version of the learning was evaluated. The work was conducted with the University of Dundee, and the method and evaluation have been published in the British Journal of Nursing (the article can be found here).
